About Me
Hi! I’m Dr. Luci.
I am a licensed psychologist, bilingual therapist (Spanish & English), and career coach in NY and FL who centers culturally and trauma-informed care for adults and university students.
Like many of the folks I work with, I too have navigated biculturalism and the challenges of being a high achiever. As a Black woman who grew up in NYC in a working-class immigrant family, I know what it means to work hard, to do it all, and to do right by all. I also know what imposterism, perfectionism, and marginalization feel like all too intimately. I’ve learned that these experiences are internalized. They fuel a cycle of grinding, insecurity, and burnout. It is this awareness and lived experience that fuels my passion and commitment to this work.
Bringing together personal knowledge and rigorous professional training, with support, deep connection, empathy, cultural responsiveness, and the belief that growth-fostering relationships help us challenge ourselves, take risks, and move in the direction of change, I can help you connect to greater ease, find calm, and create balance.
I help high achievers who feel burned out, anxious, or never enough find balance and reconnect with what truly matters. These challenges are not individual flaws. They are shaped by systemic, institutional, cultural, generational, and relational messages that teach us that overperformance equals success. You can honor your culture, make your family proud, and nurture a meaningful life. Together, we can redefine success to include feeling grounded, energized, connected, and fulfilled.
Many of the people I work with come with diverse experiences and they are caregivers, people who “do the most” for others. They may be navigating perfectionism, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, OCD, relationship stress, career changes, or questions of identity. In our work, they learn that change can happen in connection, not in isolation. You don’t have to keep doing it alone.
